Sample at Winking Lizard Lakewood during the "Great Lakes Brewing Company Saves Cleveland Beer Week" event on 10/14/2017. Dark brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Sticky small patches of lace. Dark fruit, oak and yeast in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, dark fruit, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and fruity yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
