Sample at the tap room during the "Zaftig New Location GRAND OPENING!" event on 05/21/2016. Black pour with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, brandy and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of sweet brandy, roast malt, vanilla and chocolate. The finish is sweet and boozy with a brandy and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
