Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of charred malt, oaky bourbon and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of bourbon, oak, smoked malt and fudge. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and chocolate malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
