Pouring jet black with an off-white head, this sweet stout is loaded with Carabello Cold Drip Starter coffee and has a sweet vanilla cream finish. Lactose sugar in the boil keeps this beer full bodied and balances the bitterness of the coffee that was cold steeped in the finished beer for 5 days.

Sample at Braxton Labs for Cincinnati Beer Week on 06/23/2017. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Roasted malt, coffee and vanilla aroma. Medium body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with vanilla and chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet with a vanilla mocha aftertaste. Above average overall.
