Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a sparse outer ring. Sparse spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
