Sample from cask at the 14th annual Smokehouse Mini Real Ale Fest on 05/13/2017. This brew is a dark brownish-amber color with a medium frothy off-white head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit and peppers. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, peach, habanero and hops. The finish is fruity up front with a lingering peppery aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
