Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roasted coffee, chocolate malt and vanilla. The finish is sweet and roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
