Draft @ Birdcage, Bethnal Green E2. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel and chocolate finish.

Pours thick and black with a small head.Nose shows chocolate, liquorice and bready malt.Flavours inlcude heavy dry roast, soft cocoa, burnt toast and liquorice.

Schooner on tap @ The Australian ($11!). Mahogany red/black with tan head. Slight cocoa/Hop nose. Full-bodied, oily texture. Creamy and bitter, beautiful beer. Finish is long with fruity bitterness. Served too cold (of course) improves with every mouthful.
