A balanced Western North Carolina IPA with bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Expect big grapefruit, tangerine and subtle melon flavors from the chorus of Mosaic & Centennial hops to balance out the malt in this dank & drinkable ale.

Month old bottle into an IPA. A: Deep orange body with a short, tight tan head. Good retention and great lacing. No visible carbonation. S: Bright zesty orange and faint caramel aroma. T: Bitter orange pith, zest and strong enough woody malt sweetness to compete with the hops. Slight alcohol. M: Medium weight with crisp subtle bubble scrub and lingering coating resin. O: A tad strong and sweet for me personally but admittedly a good IPA nonetheless.

Sample at the taproom. Dark orange color with a medium thin bone white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, earthy hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall
