2024 version is 13.2%, aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon and Corowa Whiskey barrels. Black, a tan head struggles to form. Aroma of mocha, brioche, green nuts, whisky. Syrupy, low carbonation. Sweet with mocha, brioche or even Welsh cakes, roast that eats at the sweetness, boozy whisky undertones, peppery oak. Lots going on but I wonder whether things would have more room to move were it a little less strong. Still, good.

Pours black with a fading head.Nose shows vanilla, chocolate, soft woody oak, roasted malt, liquorice, rum and raisin.Flavours include more liquorice, chocolate syrup, treacle, vanilla, soft booze, oak, creme brulee. Amazing how gentle the booze is considering the strength.
