We launch this Chestnut Special Edition to bring a little bit more from Alto Alentejo to a bottle. We selected the Marvão Chestnut DOP to brew a Smoked Brown Ale, with notes of Chestnut and aniseed, finishing with a caramel taste. It’s ideal to enjoy on an autumn evening in front of an Alentejo fireplace with a cartige of roasted chestnuts by your side.

330 mL bottle. Pours dark brown, with a fair, bubbly, khaki head. The nose is walnut, brown bread, coriander, straw, and dust. Sweet and nutty, with a mellow, grassy bitterness. Medium body, grainy, and syrupy. Clean and pretty nice.
