Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy brown body with a beige head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of woody malt and blackcurrant. Flavour of toast and berries. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Light fizz. A nice ashy mild.

Keg at Gravity Well Brewing Taproom, Leyton, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, slightly nutty taste and nose, quite thin as expected. A rather basic mild.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 21st March 2025. Opaque dark brown with shallow off-white foam and pattern lacing. Rich roastiness in aroma. Spiced roastiness in-mouth with a Belgian palate. A finish of toasty maltiness, spices and grasses. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.
