Tap at the Hanoi brewpub. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, light chocolate, citrus fruits, light spice. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, big sweet caramel malt, fruity, light dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. One of the better beers from Turtle Lake. An interesting experiment that has paid off.
