Brewed with a blend of American and European pilsner malts, then kettle-hopped with Hallertau Blanc and Hallertau Mittelfrüh. A light dry hop with The Bruce—a New Zealand field blend of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Rakau from Freestyle Hop Farm—adds delicate citrus and tropical fruit notes, alongside a floral sweetness reminiscent of dandelion jelly.
The name Tasman Sun comes from a break during hop harvest, years ago, when we ventured from Nelson, NZ to hike a stretch of the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. The unexpected beauty of that day—golden beaches, clear turquoise water, and a trail weaving through native forest—made it one to remember.
Years ago, we brewed and canned this beer under a simple label. Now, it returns with its own proper artwork by Burlington native Matthew DeForest Jenkins, an artist and illustrator whose work balances whimsy and storytelling.

Pours pale celadon-tinged yellow into a willi. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Citrus and composting meadow aromas. Crisp with sweet lemongrass and tangerine upfront turning to dusty pith in the medium length finish.
