Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 14, 2025.
Aroma is moderately hoppy with notes of passion fruit stone fruit, tropical citrus, grapefruit and dank, piney resin. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a clear, brilliant yellow-gold with a medium large, fairly thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Moderate lacing and small legs.
Flavor has a light sweetness with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly hoppy with lots of grapefruit and dank, oily, pine resin notes. Light notes of passion fruit, stone fruit and tropical citrus.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Nice hop notes in the aroma and flavor. Fairly assertive bitterness but it's balanced by the malt sweetness and hides the alcohol well.
