Unpasteurized, unfiltered and with the traditional way of fermentation inside the bottle, Delphi Dark Ale balances between strength and finesse. It is characterized by its aromatic intensity, consisted of coffee, roasted nuts and black fruits, followed by the tropical expression of its hops and a long lasting chocolate finish. Its smooth, medium body makes it a rather complex but easy-going beer.

INGREDIENTS: Malt (Barley), HOPS (Amarillo, Cascade, Citra, Nelson Sauvin)

ALCOHOL: ABV 5.6 %

AVAILABLE IN: 330ml BOTTLES

FOODPAIRING: BBQ, Ribs, Stew, Desserts based on coffee and chocolate

Hopfennoten spielen in diesem Geschehen praktisch keine Rolle. Was sagt das Mundgefühl? Stilistisch eher schwierig einzuordnen.

330ml bottle bought at Foods n' Goods. Slowly diminishing tan head leaving spotty lacing on the glass, pitch black body. Moderate roasted chocolate malts on the nose. Hints of coffee and chocolate to the taste profile, unpleasant sourish throughout. Sour-malty ending. Not in its best shape. (Hotel room, Chania 02.06.2023).

Expensive looking 0,33 l bottle. Pours out oily and nearly black with an huge frothy beige head. Dark choco smell with an intensive shot dark berryfruits. Taste starts with a lot of choco followed by an intensive fresh crisp hop part. Creamy palate. Hints of pepper. Long lasting aftertaste. Really nice!
