From cask a Lass O’Gowrie 28.03.25. Clear dark golden amber. Creamy off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of medium roasted malt, brittle and slightly harsh caramel. Low hoppiness. I guess this is what someonw would call caramel water.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 23rd March 2025. Coppery amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Sweet and nutty malts aroma. Malty in-mouth with hazelnut and berry fruits. A finish of tangy fruits and biscuit malts. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden amber with a medium sized frothy off-white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just some malty hints. In the mouth it is slightly sweet and smooth with a little juiciness. Flavour is mainly malts with some hints of floral hops and traces of citrus and tangerine coming through later. Overall is the bland and pretty much tasteless !
