Dullish, amber. No head. Toasty, med bitterness, leafy hop and toasty malt, a bit chewy. Too yeasty but there’s some good elements.

Poured from the tap @ P49. Clear amber with small white head. Light caramel malt with light piney hops. Okay.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma has a nice resinous hop character that melds well with the caramel malt and a touch of pine. Flavour likewise brings out a nice balance between the resinous hops and chewy caramel malt—nice gentle hop bitterness and malt presence that doesn’t eclipse the hops. I’d like more assertiveness overall but the balance is skilled and drinkability is high.

Flight pour at the brewery. Pours murky copper with a white head. Tangy berries on the nose. Flavour has bread crust malts, tangy berries, and woody pine. Nice bite. Not outstanding, but solid malty IPA.
