On nitro tap at Parallel 49, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium, creamy beige head. Aroma has soft roasted malt, some earthiness, and a touch of dry coffee grounds. Flavour is creamy and smooth, with soft toasted malt and a hint of coffee. Clean and smooth but not interesting.

Flight nitro pour at the brewery. Pours black with beige nitro head. Dry roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has fairly watered down roasted malts and cocoa. Profile is pleasant enough for the style.
