Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, rich head. Salmiaky licorice aroma. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Salmiaky licorice, green apples and burnt toast. Resinous bitter finish.

Pour is a complete black with a bone white head. Aroma is some sweet molasses and charred malt. Flavor is some roasted malt but a bit thin on the mouthfeel. With this being the day of the dead I thought it would have some Mexican chocolate and ancho chili but no, they stuck to the basics, which is fine. OK stout but a bit thin. The aroma was better than the flavor.

Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted and toasted malts with some chocolate and coffee to it. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some herbal and mild nutty tones to it.
