Day Off is a brand new West Coast IPA that we've brewed to help you hold onto the memories of those sweet sweet days off you had over the holidays. Looking for a delicate balance of old school pine and new school hop punch , we've loaded it up with Nelson Sauvin Cryo, Citra, Simcoe and Rakau, plus a little sprinkle of Riwaka Cryo in the whirlpool. Aromatically this beer is a masterclass of kiwi hop magnificence. Passionfruit and citrus from the Riwaka lead into wafts of white wine and lychee from the Nelson with just a hint of dank. On first sip you'll be met with a firm full palate bitterness, that slowly fades into waves of orange citrus crush, lychee and passionfruit, with a strong underlying piney resin that carries throughout. This is about as bang on as modern West Coast IPA gets for us.
