Sample at the brewpub during the Brewer’s Challenge on 02/05/2016. The beer pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, resiny hops and fruit. The finish is malty up front with a piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
