Sample at the brewpub during the Brewer’s Challenge on 02/05/2016. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to a rocky outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, chocolate and vanilla. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, vanilla and sweet chocolate. The finish is roasty with a vanilla and chocolate aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
