On draught at the brewpub, this is the September selection in Elevator’s "PHD" program. Brownish-black color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, malt and peanuts. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and peanut butter. The finish is sweet with a fudge and peanut butter aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
