Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, roasted nuts and slight chocolate. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
