On draught at the brewpub, this is the May selection in Elevator’s "PHD" program. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and a bit of fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
