Sample at the brewpub during the 9th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/05/14. The beer is a clear dark amber-orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is oaky with fruit and wheat notes. Full-bodied with a predominantly oak and paw paw flavor, with some herbal wheat in the background. The finish is boozy with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
