Sample at the tasting room. Pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma oak, caramel malt and dark fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt and fruity yeast. The finish is oaky up front with a lingering dark malty aftertaste. Solid beer all around.
