Sample at the Clybourn brewpub. Black pour with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt, chocolate and hops. Light-bodied with a roasty character and flavors of sweet malt, dark chocolate and hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
