We've taken our rich and velvety Oatmeal Stout, Apex, and let our brewers' creativity run wild. The result? A luscious, indulgent stout inspired by our love of Irish Coffees.
Infused with coffee from our friends and local roasters @neveradaystrouble, this stout is perfectly complemented by a creamy, smooth body thanks to the addition of milk sugar and a bit of bite from the Irish Whiskey.
This is more than a beer; it's a decadent treat, best savoured after a good meal in the company of family and friends.

Dark brown with light brown head - Roasted malt aroma - Malt body with roasted malt flavours, hints of coffee and lactose - Malt finish with hints of lactose in the back - This was nice

44 cl. can @ home, bought @ Slijterij de Langstraat, Waalwijk.
Dark brown to black with a beige head. Chocolate and sweet coffee aroma. Sweet taste with a sweet cloying finish. Too sweet for my taste and certainly too sweet for an Irish stout.

Farge: Klar, sort med rødlig skjær og lyst, beige skum
Aroma: Røstet malt, nykvernet kaffe, mørk sjokolade, mørk karamell, kakao og havre
Smaker: Det er kaffen som er mest fremtredende i smaken, med en fin maltprofil liggende bak. Det er en enkel sødme, middels fylde og god balanse mellom det litt bitre og tørre, mot det søte og fruktige her.
Det røstede maltet fungerer meget godt med kaffen her.

440ml can, kindly shared by Finn. Deep ruby-black body, off-white head, spotty lacing. Attractive on the nose with smoothly roasted, mid-sweet dark malts. Fine blended malt-driven taste of chocolate, cocoa, and coffee. Mid-sweet, smoothly roasted coffee-chocolate finish. Medium bodied. Well crafted. (Vervet, Tromsø, 15.05.2025).

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat, also available from nettbutikken. ABV is 5.2%. Black colour, large to moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of roast malts, oatmeal, chocolate and Irish Coffee. Smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour with the same elements as the aroma, moderately sweet, low bitterness. Recommended.
