This is the December selection in Elevator’s "MBA" program. Dark amber color with a thin and fluffy light beige head. Thin, spotty lacing. The aroma is mildly malty with ginger in the background. Medium-bodied with lots of spice flavoring. As a matter of fact it was a little too much ginger and other spices without anything to complement them. Faint malt helps a little but doesn’t do enough to balance. All that said, it’s still a decent drink. The finish is short and sweet, with more ginger and allspice. Alright as far as these kinds of beers go, I still like Barley’s version more and CBC’s version less.
