From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is an explosion of spices, huge unpleasant cinnamon, nutmeg, christmas cake, sugar, sweet malt and caramel. Flavour is quite annoyingly sweet and cloying. Body is medium. Way too heavy on the cinnamon for my taste, almost sickening. I still love Hoppin’ Frog, but this beer...

Can from Tavour. Pours a dark, near mahogany, with a beige/tan head that didn't persist for long. Aroma of nutmeg and ginger. Arguably full bodied. Flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger with roasty malt support. Not very dry. Spice stands in for bitter. Delicious.

12 ounce can. Orange brown pour.small creamy tan head. Sweet honeyish malt aroma. Notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and brown sugar. Toasted malt flavor is full of spices and sweet fruit. Notes of plump raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Very mild carbonation. Quite flavorful and unique. Some booziness on the backend.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark amber/brown pour, fizzy head. Aroma is cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste leads with the savory spice, minor sweetness, light malt profile. On a chilly night, this really hits the spot.
