Sample at the tap room during the 1st Anniversary Party on 02/28/2015. Pours a brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of roast malt, oak and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and vinous oak. The finish is fruity and malt, A litter drier and therefore more drinkable and enjoyable than the bourbon one. Pretty good overall.
