Sample at The Brass Tap during Cincinnati Beer Week. The beer pours a deep brown-black color with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
