Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Jet black color with a medium light beige head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing. Coffee and roasted malt in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of espresso, roast malt and dark chocolate. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
