Sample at Phoenix Brewing Company. The beer pours a clear copper-amber color with a medium creamy off-white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee and slight hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
