Sample at McMenamin’s Old St. Francis School in Bend. This brew pours dark brown with a medium tan head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and hops. Light to medium body with a roasty character and flavors of malt, chocolate and hops. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
