Sample at the North Market Columbus Microbrew fest on 09/26/2010: The beer is a very dark brown color with a thin tan head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, toasted malt and caramel. Rich body with flavors of dark roasted coffee, malt, caramel and underlying booze. The finish is malty with an oaky bourbon aftertaste. Good all around.
