On draught at the Dublin Irish Festival (As Dublin Irish Festival Stout). The beer is dark brownish-black with a thin light brown head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing doesn’t stick but it is served in a plastic cup. Light roasty aroma with notes of malt and chocolate. Medium, smooth body with flavors of roasted malt, sweet chocolate and a bit of coffee. The finish is roasty with a short malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
