Sample at the brewpub. Pours black with a bit of amber around the edges and a minimal off-white head. Spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberry, malt and vanilla. Rich body with a moderately tart raspberry character and notes of roasted malt, vanilla and oak. The finish coats the tongue and leaves a lingering berry aftertaste. Really good Braggot overall.
