Happy day with a growler of Stone Age! I poured it a little warmer than I thought and got a lot of foam, but thatβs not all bad. The aromas match the body-dark and creamy. Chocolate, dark fruit and a healthy dose of cream dominate the palate with occasional side currents of peat or bitter coffee grounds that blend in nicely. Mouthfeel and palate development are both full and good. Anticipation was high for this and Fatheads delivered another winner! This beer will win gold medals.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours solid black with a medium tan head that dissipates slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate and malt. Rich body with flavors of dark chocolate, bitter coffee, malt and dark fruits. The finish is sweet roasted malt with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Very good overall.
