Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Caramel malt aroma with some hops in the background. Medium body with a sweet malty character that has caramel and toffee notes. Mild hops are present as well. The finish is malty with a sweet aftertaste. Decent overall.
