Super clear golden and light orange coloured body with no head at all - not when poured vigorously or at anytime during the opening - crazy and still, beautifully clear copper glowing body. Aroma of soured lime, tequilla, oaky and lightly biscuity notes show in the nose with a ton of soured, tart and funky quotients, but nothing overtly suggesting the power of this, in the nose, at least. Light-bodied; Strong lime and tequilla, agave flavours show at first with some honey and light graininess, but this is pretty clean-drinking, slightly soured and tart with a lot of sweetness, but nothing overly done or pungent, especially any alcohol in the flavour with a clean bite showing a bunch of sugars, but not really much in terms of pungency or alcohol - this is pretty easy-drinking, somehow! Aftertaste shows some light limey and very tequilla-y notes that bring off a bit of a soured and funky, slightly lactobilly notes in the immediate flavours with a tiny hint of alcohol here and some additional sugars, but nowhere close to double-digits nor any cloying qualities in the sugars. Overall, a very nice, super unexpecting and funky, tart beer that shows around 6 or at most 7 per cent alcohol that is super deceiving, but perhaps that has to do with the age of this, but without there being sediment here and bottle-conditioned qualities, I'm not sure how much really did change in this one, but I do know it is SUPER easy-drinking if the alcohol content (14%!?!) is correct. I sampled this twelve ounce (I swear it's actually 33 cL) bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 19-July-2019 for US$4,59 sampled about three and a half years later at my house here in Washington, just a few blocks away on 28-January-2023.

$5.99 bottle from TWG. Hazy gold with lots of carbonation but no head. Aroma is tart lime, molasses, spices, tart berry, tart stone fruit. Flavor is molasses, lime, white grape. Strange, not completely loving the flavor, but it's interesting. Not incredibly sour... well done.
