A spelt Farmhouse-inspired Ale aged in red wine barrels for 18 months then conditioned on 800g/L of whole Virginia merlot grapes from @flyingfoxwines. Reminiscent of a pleasant red wine. Soft impressions of blackberry and plum with a clean mineral-like finish. Bottle-conditioned for 16 months.

Tap at brew By Numbers bermondsey. A hazed dull brown coloured pour with a a cresmy beige head. Aroma is semi sweet vanilla. Custard, toffee, pine. Ok. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy, toffee, vanilla midget gems. Meh. Ok. Palate is semi sweet, creamy ok.
