Crisp, pure golden and straw yellow coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head. Aroma of very soft malts and sugars with a bigger hit of lemon juice and acidity with a funky yeast and bread quality, right behind. Light-bodied; Strong citrusey and lemony flavours dominate, of course, with a funky malt and grainy showing towards the end, but all very easy-drinking and still crisp with a lot of the lemon bitterness showing through. Aftertaste is crisp, showing a tiny bit of very light, artificial sugars and a bigger dose of lemons, all on top of a very soft maltiness. Aftertaste shows some more lemons, a light bitter and astringent quality and a herbal and dry biting flavour at the end that is a touch funky, perhaps from the yeast. Overall, a dry and crisp beer that shows a moderate amount of flavours for the style, but nothing overwhelmingly good or robust - but an easy-drinking beer that has some lemon flavours and some easy-going malts. Decent enough to sample, but not worth getting again, even in the middle of summer on a 90 degF plus day here in Montana! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Super One [grocery store] in Kalispell, Montana on 26-July-2020 for US$1,67 as a reward for driving the Going-To-The-Sun road in Glacier National Park on 27-July-2020.
