Relatively light golden and mellow straw coloured body with a faint, but noticeable pure white head, only a half centimetre tall or so. Aroma of grass, light malt and perhaps the tiniest bit of hops, but those could have been coming off as a dry-hop scent from my IPA a few inches away. Light-bodied; Crisp malty notes dominate with a touch of grain and more pronounced yeast elements along with a dash of bread and a faint bit of sweetness as well. Aftertaste is crisp and very balanced with some sweetness, a light kick of floral and grassy hops noticeable and mostly a bready, yeastie and heavy malt bite towards the end that swings in that direction. Overall, a good enough, but slightly off-balanced beer that shows much more malt and especially yeast/bread than anything else, but does have some other flavours. I sampled this four ounce pour on draught, as part of the full nine-beer lineup sampling, from the brewpub/brewery in Rapid City, South Dakota, just hours after landing in the state [for the first time, ever] on 25-June-2020 for US$12,25 (for all nine beers!).
