Super deep blue and almost indigo in colour with a thinnish, very fast-dying pure white head, only a centimetre or so in height. Aroma of deeply soured and tart fruit notes with a lot of lactobilly and some mellow bready yeast notes which showcase the fruit notes as there really isn't much else, aside from some mellowish malts and a dose of dry funk. Light to Medium-bodied; Very fruity and especially berry-y flavour at first with the blueberries and some dry stone fruits with a light malt backbone which shows wheat and some dry grassy characteristics, but the sweet, tart and especially funky flavours persist, in a good way, that is literally mouthwatering. Aftertaste shows the fruity and soured components with a lot of character from the dry and lactose notes with a touch of vanilla on the edges as well, which makes it even smoother. Overall, a rather complex and enjoyable sour beer with bunches of fruit notes, especially the blueberries, of course, but the lactobilly and dry grassiness show through as well, in a good way. Nice to sample and well worth trying to find, especially if you like soured beers. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 22-November-2019 for US$4,13 sampled at home in Washington, a few blocks away on 16-March-2020.

Can. Pours a hazy purple with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy blueberry and apricot with a bit of earthy wheat and yogurt backing. Flavor has a combination of yogurt, blueberry, apricot and yogurt with a bit earthiness backing.
