Very hazy golden and straw coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white and Soapy head that holds strong for a while. Aroma of grapefruit, crisp biscuits, a dose of hay and grass and some floral notes, without much alpha acids or bitterness at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy, herbal and perfumey hops dominate the flavour at first with some lemon, citrus and a touch of sweetness from the fruit. Aftertaste shows some light soapy and floral notes with a good deal of biscuits and malt components, but while the hops arent bitter, their characteristics show through and leave some grass and dry pine flavours noticeable. Some decent flavours throughout, but nothing revealing for the style. Overall, a good and interesting IPA with a lot of floral and grassy notes around, but not as robust as you'd expect for the style I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Selma (Forum), San Antonio, Texas on 14-October-2019 for US$2,49 sampled at home In Washington on 21-February-2020.
