Cask at Angel Inn, Stockport. Served FAR too cold, so may require a rerate. Also, I generally don’t like Beartown beers … Anyway, pours a reddish brown with a frothy cream head. Nose has a vague aroma of peaches. In the mouth the taste is fruity, yet bitter. Think grapefruit mixed with plums, with metallic undertones. The finish is a yucky mess with wax polish and banana skins. What can I say ? I don’t like Beartown beers …
