Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and licorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Decent enough but nothing exciting.

Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty light caramel malt, light alcohol. The flavour is liquorice bitter with a smooth, slightly watery, roasty malt, liqouirce charcoal, dry hop bitter palate.
